Our signature women's bonspiel event, taking place on Saturday November 15, is now open to BDCC teams to register!    

We have already recruited 11 teams from other clubs! Now we need five BDCC teams to round out two draws.

Registration closes on October 17th. If we have more than five teams sign up from BDCC, we will draw team names. The lottery system this year is intended to give everyone an equal chance. 

Attached is the registration information. Chat up the possibilities in your curling circles and get your registration in. (Don't pay until your team is confirmed.)

Our efforts to recruit teams from other clubs was done deliberately to help us prepare for a bigger event next year to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Heiferspiel -- we want 24 teams for next year's event!   We will need these other clubs to help us build our numbers.

As many of you know, interclub competition at spiels is important to building the curling community. They send teams to us and we send teams to their events. Sue Joly is a fountain of information on how that works. She will let you know which other clubs would like BDCC teams to register.
